**Note** Nov. 10th is a PD Day. Game will be played on Nov 9 if it does not affect JV night.
**Boys Note** Westmount is the only JV team in our Zone. We have decided to allow them to play each team once. When you play Westmount it is recommended to play your bench.
Procedures for Quick Sub rule: One official: Substitute enters the substitution zone during stoppage of play. Scorekeeper rings the buzzer and puts up one hand indicating the substitute is legal. Substitution occurs in the substitution zone. Scorekeeper raises both hands indicating that they are ready to proceed in the match.
Two officials: Substitute enters the substitution zone during stoppage of play. Scorekeeper rings the buzzer and puts up one hand indicating the substitute is legal. Second referee standing between the pole and the scoretable signals to the sub that entry into the court has been authorized. Substitution occurs in the substitution zone. Scorekeeper raises both hands indicating that they are ready to proceed. Second referee does the same facing the first referee.
Note: for multiple substitutions, all subs enter the substitution zone at the same time. Substitutions however take place “one at a time”. Players waiting their turn to sub in are to back off from the net area so the scorekeeper can clearly see who is being subbed in/out. |
